OUR ALMIGHTY FATHER
THE REWARDS GRANTED TO THE RIGHTEOUS ARE MANY:
WE WILL BE A LIGHT FOR OTHERS:
But the path of the righteous is like the light of dawn,
which shines brighter and brighter until full day,
The way of the wicked is like deep darkness;
they do not know over what they stumble.
    Proverbs 4:18

GOD WILL STRENGTHEN OUR FAITHFULNESS
TOWARD HIM:
Behold he whose soul is not upright in him shall fail,
but the righteous shall live by faithfulness.
    Habakkuk 2:4

WE WILL FLOURISH UNDER HIS CARE:
The righteous flourish like the palm tree,
and grow like a cedar in Lebanon.
They are planted in the house of the Lord,
they flourish in the courts of our God.
They still bring forth in old age,
they flourish in the courts of our God.
They still bring forth in old age,
to show that the LORD is upright;
he is my rock,
and there is no unrighteousness
             in him.              Psalm 92:12-15
This month we have dwelled upon the righteousness of our God.  Since we are created in His image, let us endeavor
to imitate Him.
            Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness;"
                                                     Genesis 1:26

Let us adopt Jesus as our Model of righteousness.  In the Old Testament, it was predicted that He would exemplify
all that is perfect.
           " And this is the name by which he will be called: 'The Lord is our righteousness.'.."  
                                                                                                           Jeremiah 23:6b                                                                   
                                                               
Let us pray that Paul's hope for the Philippians will also be granted to us::
          "And it is my prayer that your love may abound more and more,
             with knowledge and all discernment, so that you may approve what
             is excellent, and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ,
             filled with the fruits of righteousness which come through
             Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God. "      Philippians 1:9-11                                                                             
                                                                                                    
WE ARE PROTECTED:
The name of the Lord is a strong tower.
The righteous runs into it and is safe.
                 Proverbs 18:10

OUR PRAYERS WILL BE ANSWERED:  
The prayer of a righteous man has great powers
in its effects.
                 James 5:16b

WE WILL BE BLESSED BY GOD:
For thou dost bless the righteous, O Lord.
thou dost cover him with favor as a shield.
                   Psalm 5:12

GOD'S CARE FOR US WILL ENDURE:
And as his righteous ones, we will live forever in His care.
But the right live forever and  their reward is with the Lord
the most High takes care of them.
Therefore they will receive a glorious crown
and a beautiful diadem from the hand of the Lord,
because with his right hand he will cover them
and with his arm he will shield them.      
                                                      Wisdom 5:13-16  
Let us always linger on the thought that God's wish is that we conform to His norm for us; that He is always available
to us in His mercy and forgiveness; and that He has the supreme power to judge sin and unbelief.  Let us embrace His righteousness .  

Let the seas roar, and all that fills it;
the world and those who dwell in it!
Let the floods clap their hands;
Let the hills sing for joy together
before the Lord, for he comes
to judge the earth.
He will judge the world with righteousness,
and the peoples with equity.
    Psalm 98:7-9
My most forgiving Father, Who practices both patience and forbearance, I am sorry for my sins;
deepen my sorrow for my sins and spare me from eternal damnation.

The Word of The Lord came to me:                                        
" Again, though I say to the wicked, 'You shall surely die,' yet if he turns from
his sin and does what is lawful and right, if the wicked restores the pledge, gives
back what he has taken by robbery, and walks in the statutes of life, committing no
iniquity; he shall surely live, he shall not die.  None of the sins that he has
committed shall be remembered against him; he has done what is lawful and right,
he shall surely live."
                         Ezekiel 33:1,14-16
